Covid update

I currently offer psychological therapy sessions via online video or over the phone. Whilst I’m working remotely I’m able to be flexible regarding session times. I do understand that many clients are often busy with work meetings or family responsibilities so I’m happy to work on an ad hoc basis or change session times to accommodate you each week.

Please get in touch via my contact page or phone me on 07821 587297. If I’m unable to answer the phone please leave a message and I’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. I’m unable to offer a full session when we initially speak on the phone but we can briefly discuss your reasons for getting in touch and agree to a time for our first appointment.

Simon WhalleyWelcome to my website.  I am a fully chartered Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and a fully registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council. I am based in Central London and work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties. The nearest transport links to my clinics are Farringdon, St. Paul’s and Chancery Lane tube stations, and City Thameslink is only a couple of minutes away. I am registered with Bupa, AXA, Cigna and Healix healthcare insurers as a healthcare provider. If I am not registered with your health insurance company please feel free to contact me anyway. I am always happy to register with new insurers.

Taking the first step towards seeking counselling or psychotherapy can sometimes feel like a daunting prospect and it is important that you feel comfortable in making the right choices.

I work using a variety of therapy models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and person-centred approaches. We will work together to form a safe space in which we can explore your issues and try to help you find a way out of your current difficulties.
